Harvard Brain Initiative Events
The Harvard Brain Initiative (HBI) works to promote interdisciplinary and cross-campus interactions amongst neuroscientists in the University and its affiliated hospitals — enhancing research, enriching education, engaging the public in brain science, and together expanding its power for the betterment of human health and society. Established in 2001, NESS provides a forum for postdoctoral fellows; medical, dental and graduate students; post-baccalaureates; college and community college students (particularly individuals from groups underrepresented in science and medicine and/or disadvantaged individuals) to share their biomedical and health-related research activities through oral or poster presentations, engage in discussions related to career development in the sciences, exchange ideas, and expand their professional networks.
