Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Chloe Denelsbeck joined the Neuro Admin team, July 2023, in the newly created Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Program Coordinator role. She is the first to hold this position and will support departmental DEI efforts.
After high school, Chloe took a gap year where she worked and traveled before heading to the American University of Paris (AUP) where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, History, Law, and Society. Her studies focused on the historical and legal roots of oppression and cemented her passion for equity and justice. While enrolled at AUP, Chloe founded an intersectional feminist student organization called ReSisters, founded a peer mentoring program, volunteered in the Paris refugee community with UNICEF, participated in a prison reform course, and more. These experiences inspired Chloe to pursue a career in Diversity and Inclusion.
Chloe holds a Master’s, Diversity and Inclusion Leadership, from Tufts University. During her studies at Tufts, Chloe worked as a Graduate Intern at AARP in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. At AARP, she focused on externally facing DEI projects, such as conference activations as well as internally facing work, to include equitable distribution of event and professional development opportunities for AARP employees.
In her free time Chloe likes to explore hidden gems in Boston, go thrifting, practice her rollerblading, visit her Nana in Quincy, enjoy a bagel and matcha from Pavement Coffeehouse, hang out with her Godson (her sister’s cat, Bingles), and work with the Boston Women’s Market.
Feel free to talk to Chloe about department DEI programs, PiNBAC, MAHPING, ideas/suggestions you have, or just stop by her office in Armenise 429 to say hello.
